Presidents Day

We went on a mini vacation with the Weller family over Presidents Day weekend and had so much fun! When we got home we made an edible log cabin for Abraham Lincoln and learned about our 16th president and then ate the log cabin as our snack. Eli got his first makeup from his sisters which I think he enjoyed a little too much, poor guy, good thing he is about to have a brother! And here is a picture of his new bunk beds that he is so excited about. He and Aubrey both slept on the top bunk the first night they were up!

All About Ava

Ava is my spunky child! She will definitely be the class clown, that is if I ever send her to school. Homeschooling is the plan for now. These pictures are all about Ava! Here are two pictures of Ava's surgery, a picture of her with rollers in her hair, a picture of her in the bath with her best friend Rivers, relaxing in her car seat which is how she loves to sit, bath time fun (she was pretending to be the queen of the bath with a drum on her head), and then there is a picture of Ava with lipstick all over her face. I left in her the bathroom while I went to grab my phone and when I got back she had gotten two of my lipsticks out of the cabinet and thankfully only applied them to her lips and all around her lips. At least she knew where lipstick goes, but I think I have a future clown on my hands. My lipsticks were ruined but the picture turned out really cute! She was very proud of her work.

More pics

These pictures are of us baking cookies for our neighbors for Valentine's Day which was very messy and so much fun. All three kids enjoyed breaking eggs, pouring in the ingredients, mixing and cutting out the heart shaped cookies! There is a pic of us sleeping downstairs in the hallway because of a tornado warning which we no longer take lightly because our rental house was badly damaged by a tornado in April 2011. I love the picture of all three kids napping together. They love each other so much! Then there is the photo of Ava sleeping on my body pillow on the bathroom floor, which is where she likes to lay while I am getting dressed and putting makeup on. It's kind of like a dog bed, isn't it? Normally she sits there and looks at a book or plays with her baby doll but she must have been really tired this particular day because she went to sleep.

Christmas Pictures and Aubrey's First Loose Tooth

Finally Updating the Blog

It has been a long time since I have updated the blog so there may be several posts here to catch you up on our lives or at least lots of pictures. We are doing great and very anxiously awaiting the birth of Charles Connor Dewald due April 12. 6 weeks away and I am counting down. I can't wait to meet this little boy! Aubrey has lost 3 teeth, has just signed up for soccer, has a ballet recital coming up in May and is completing her home school Kindergarten year hopefully before Connor is born! Eli is enjoying his first year of choir, learning lots in home-school pre-school, and loves his new bunk beds we just set up in his room. He definitely can't wait to play soccer next year, I think he is a little jealous that Aubrey gets to play this year. Ava is finally starting to talk more, she is a fun, mischievous little girl and will be turning 2 in May (where did the time go). She just had tubes put in her ears and her adenoids out and the surgery went well. We have had a busy year but so much fun! I love these sweet kids so much and their different personalities! Here are some pics to see glimpses of their lives!
